Notes
- Scope: every public page of the website in all five languages: the home page (hero video, about, technology cards, careers teaser, partners, contact), the software services, web development, digital marketing and training pages, the visa overview and the 14 country visa pages, tourist packages, flight tickets, careers (job cards with filters and search), job pages with the application form, the accessibility statement, this report and the privacy policy. The display bar (text size, high contrast, display settings), language menu, help desk, enquiry wizard and cookie card were tested on every page type.
- Not in scope: the WordPress administration screens used by staff, and third-party sites linked from the website (for example Facebook, X and LinkedIn).
- Job descriptions are published in English on the translated pages and are marked lang="en"; the full text of this report is also in English and marked lang="en" on the translated report pages.
- Interim status: testing was automated plus manual keyboard, visual and code inspection. A manual screen-reader pass (NVDA with Firefox or Chrome on Windows, VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS) is scheduled and has not been done yet. Criterion 302.1 (Without Vision) and EN 301 549 clause 4.2.1 are reported as Partially Supports until it is complete; this report will be reissued with the results.
- This report covers conformance at the date above. The site is updated through WordPress; new content is checked against the same criteria before it is published.
Evaluation methods used
- Automated testing with axe-core 4.14 (rule sets WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA plus best practices) on 19 representative pages covering every template and all five languages, at 1440 × 900 desktop and 390 × 844 phone viewports, with the cookie card showing and dismissed, and inside the open display settings, language menu, help desk, enquiry wizard (including its error state) and flipped technology cards. Result: 0 violations.
- Color contrast re-tested with high contrast switched on: 0 failures.
- Manual keyboard walkthrough (Chromium via Playwright 1.64): skip link, text size buttons, language menu (arrow keys, Escape), display settings, main navigation and Services menu (arrow keys), technology cards (focus moves to the revealed side and back), help desk dialog (focus contained, Escape closes and returns focus), enquiry wizard (step navigation, errors move focus to the first invalid field), careers filters, job application form.
- Reflow at 320 CSS pixels wide (equivalent to 1280 px at 400% zoom) and at the largest text size (A++) on phone and desktop: no horizontal scrolling on any tested page.
- Text spacing override (line height 1.5, letter spacing 0.12 em, word spacing 0.16 em, paragraph spacing 2 em): no clipped or overlapping text.
- Code inspection of templates, scripts and generated markup for names, roles, states, language attributes, headings, landmarks and status messages.

WCAG 2.2 Report
Table 1: Success Criteria, Level A
Each WCAG row also covers the matching EN 301 549 requirements in clause 9 (Web) and, for the downloadable copies of this report, clause 10 (Non-web documents), and the Revised Section 508 requirements in 501.1 (Web) and 602.3 (Electronic support documentation). Section 508 incorporates WCAG 2.0 and EN 301 549 incorporates WCAG 2.1; the website is evaluated against WCAG 2.2, which includes all of their criteria.
| Criteria | Conformance Level | Remarks and Explanations |
|---|---|---|
| 1.1.1 Non-text Content (Level A) | Supports | Informative images have text alternatives (for example the logo link "Signin Soft — home" and the country images on the visa page). Decorative illustrations, icons and the background video are hidden from assistive technology. Icon-only controls (help desk, close, menu, social links) have accessible names. |
| 1.2.1 Audio-only and Video-only (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Supports | The home page background video is decorative: it has no sound and carries no information that is not in the page text, so it is hidden from assistive technology. |
| 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Not Applicable | The website has no prerecorded video with audio. |
| 1.2.3 Audio Description or Media Alternative (Prerecorded) (Level A) | Not Applicable | The only video is decorative and conveys no information. |
| 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (Level A) | Supports | Headings follow a logical outline, and lists, landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), tables with header cells, fieldsets with legends and form labels are marked up in HTML. Required fields are marked with an asterisk explained at the top of each form and with the required attribute. Manual screen-reader confirmation is pending (see Notes). |
| 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence (Level A) | Supports | Reading and focus order follow the visual order at every viewport size. |
| 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics (Level A) | Supports | Instructions do not rely on shape, color, size, location or sound. |
| 1.4.1 Use of Color (Level A) | Supports | Links inside text are underlined (and a Highlight links option is available). Selected filters, languages and options are shown by text, borders and ARIA state, not color alone. Form errors use text messages. |
| 1.4.2 Audio Control (Level A) | Not Applicable | The website plays no audio; the background video is muted. |
| 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A) | Supports | All functionality is operable by keyboard, including the display bar, language menu, Services menu, technology cards, help desk, enquiry wizard, careers filters and search, file upload and cookie controls. |
| 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap (Level A) | Supports | The help desk and enquiry wizard are modal dialogs that keep focus inside while open and close with Escape or the Close button, returning focus to the control that opened them. |
| 2.1.4 Character Key Shortcuts (Level A) | Supports | The website defines no single-character keyboard shortcuts. |
| 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable (Level A) | Supports | There are no time limits. Forms do not expire. |
| 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide (Level A) | Supports | The home page video has a visible Pause/Play button. The video, moving partner and training logos and all other animation stop with the Pause motion display setting (available on every page) and when the operating system requests reduced motion. |
| 2.3.1 Three Flashes or Below Threshold (Level A) | Supports | No content flashes. |
| 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks (Level A) | Supports | A "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable element and moves focus to the main region; pages use landmarks and headings. |
| 2.4.2 Page Titled (Level A) | Supports | Every page has a descriptive title in its own language. |
| 2.4.3 Focus Order (Level A) | Supports | Focus order is logical. Opening a dialog or panel moves focus into it; closing it returns focus to the opener. Revealing the back of a technology card moves focus to its Show less button. |
| 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A) | Supports | Link and button text describes the destination, or is described by its surrounding text; repeated "Click More", "Apply" and "View details" controls include the card or job title in their accessible name. Links that open a new tab say so to screen-reader users. |
| 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures (Level A) | Supports | No multipoint or path-based gestures are required. |
| 2.5.2 Pointer Cancellation (Level A) | Supports | Controls activate on release (standard click events). |
| 2.5.3 Label in Name (Level A) | Supports | Accessible names begin with the visible label text (for example the text size buttons A, A+ and A++, and "Click More"). |
| 2.5.4 Motion Actuation (Level A) | Not Applicable | No functionality is operated by device motion. |
| 3.1.1 Language of Page (Level A) | Supports | Each page declares its language: en-US, es, hi-IN, te-IN or fr. |
| 3.2.1 On Focus (Level A) | Supports | Receiving focus never changes context. |
| 3.2.2 On Input (Level A) | Supports | Changing a filter, search box, option or form field updates content in place; it does not change context. The language menu only navigates when a language is chosen. |
| 3.2.6 Consistent Help (Level A) | Supports | The help desk, phone number and email address appear in the same places on every page. |
| 3.3.1 Error Identification (Level A) | Supports | Form errors are described in text next to each field, the field is marked aria-invalid, and focus moves to the first field with an error. |
| 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions (Level A) | Supports | Every form field has a visible label; required and optional fields and accepted file types are stated. |
| 3.3.7 Redundant Entry (Level A) | Supports | The enquiry wizard keeps answers between steps and shows them on a review step; nothing is asked for twice. |
| 4.1.1 Parsing (Level A) | Supports | WCAG 2.2 removed this criterion as obsolete. For WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 (Section 508 and EN 301 549), the 2023 errata note it is always satisfied for HTML content. |
| 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) | Supports | Controls use native elements (buttons, links, form fields, dialog) or the ARIA patterns for toggle buttons (aria-pressed) and disclosures (aria-expanded); states update as they change. Manual screen-reader confirmation is pending (see Notes). |
Table 2: Success Criteria, Level AA
| Criteria | Conformance Level | Remarks and Explanations |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2.4 Captions (Live) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | The website has no live audio or video. |
| 1.2.5 Audio Description (Prerecorded) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | The only video is decorative and conveys no information. |
| 1.3.4 Orientation (Level AA) | Supports | Content works in portrait and landscape; orientation is not locked. |
| 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose (Level AA) | Supports | Fields that collect information about the user have autocomplete values (name, organization, email, tel, url). |
| 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (Level AA) | Supports | Text meets 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text) in the default design and in high contrast. Several light grey, light blue and orange text colours in the original design were darkened to meet this. |
| 1.4.4 Resize Text (Level AA) | Supports | Text resizes to 200% with browser zoom without loss of content; the display bar also offers three text sizes (A, A+ and A++). |
| 1.4.5 Images of Text (Level AA) | Supports | Text is real text; the only images of text are logos. |
| 1.4.10 Reflow (Level AA) | Supports | At 320 CSS px width (400% zoom) content reflows with no horizontal scrolling, also at the largest text size. |
| 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast (Level AA) | Supports | Form field borders, focus indicators and control boundaries meet 3:1 against adjacent colours. |
| 1.4.12 Text Spacing (Level AA) | Supports | No loss of content or function with WCAG text-spacing overrides; boxes that had fixed heights in the original design now grow with their text. The display settings also offer a wider-spacing option. |
| 1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus (Level AA) | Supports | The Services menu opens on click or keyboard, stays open while the pointer is over it, and closes with Escape. No other content appears on hover or focus. |
| 2.4.5 Multiple Ways (Level AA) | Supports | Pages are reachable from the header navigation, the footer links, the help desk and the sitemap; job pages are also reachable through the careers search and filters. |
| 2.4.6 Headings and Labels (Level AA) | Supports | Headings and labels describe their topic or purpose. |
| 2.4.7 Focus Visible (Level AA) | Supports | A visible focus outline appears on every focusable element; the Strong focus outline setting makes it thicker. |
| 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) (Level AA) | Supports | The page header is not sticky. While the cookie card is showing, scroll padding keeps focused elements clear of it. |
| 2.5.7 Dragging Movements (Level AA) | Supports | No functionality requires dragging. |
| 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum) (Level AA) | Supports | Targets are at least 24 × 24 CSS px or have sufficient spacing; inline links in text are exempt. |
| 3.1.2 Language of Parts (Level AA) | Supports | English job descriptions and the English report text on translated pages, and each entry in the language menu, carry lang attributes. |
| 3.2.3 Consistent Navigation (Level AA) | Supports | The display bar, header, navigation and footer are in the same order on every page and in every language. |
| 3.2.4 Consistent Identification (Level AA) | Supports | Components with the same function have the same labels across pages (per language). |
| 3.3.3 Error Suggestion (Level AA) | Supports | Error messages say how to fix the problem (for example the expected email format or the accepted file types and size). |
| 3.3.4 Error Prevention (Legal, Financial, Data) (Level AA) | Supports | Forms do not create legal commitments or financial transactions. The enquiry wizard has a review step before sending, and visitors can ask for submitted data to be corrected or deleted as described in the privacy policy. |
| 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication (Minimum) (Level AA) | Not Applicable | The public website has no sign-in. |
| 4.1.3 Status Messages (Level AA) | Supports | The careers result count, wizard step changes, form submission status and help desk replies are announced through live regions or role="status" without moving focus. Manual screen-reader confirmation is pending (see Notes). |
